From 1985 to 1989, he was a real estate credit analyst and loan officer for Morsemere Federal and First Federal S & L of Rochester. During this period of time, he was responsible for the placement of over $400 million in new origination Freddie Mac multi-family dwelling permanent debt financing.

Throughout his career he has been involved in over 100 public and private corporate finance transactions, including mergers and acquisitions totaling over $500 million in financing.
